More About Me

For most of my life, I struggled with my weight and mental health. As I got older, I also developed skin issues, auto-immune dysfunction, chronic pain, and depression. I bounced from fad diets to workout crazes, only to watch the weight come back time after time. As a nurse, I thought I was doing the best I could, and blamed a stressful lifestyle and bad genes for the fact that I would never look or feel like I wanted to.

What I didn't realize is that I had toxins in all corners of my life; my diet, my environment, and my lifestyle. I decided to clean up my life, quite literally. It started with simple changes like cutting out fast food and negative energy and bringing in whole foods and holistic health maintenance. I started to shed weight and a whole lot of self-limiting beliefs and behaviors. My life began to drastically open up in ways I never imagined. My daily anxiety disappeared, I had more energy & positivity than I can ever remember. I looked younger at 35 than I did at 25.

Inspired by my own transformation and what I learned along the way about nutritional science and holistic health care, I resolved to help as many people as I could achieve the same results. Taking my background in traditional medicine with me, I began studying holistic nutrition and a functional, integrative approach to health & wellness. Thus Wander Woman Wellness was born, and I began working with clients one-on-one to discover where a life of optimal health and true wellness could take them.

My philosophy is centered around whole foods and whole people. I love cooking and teaching about the healing power of high-quality foods. I also believe that there is no one size fits all approach to a healthy lifestyle. We are all products of our unique environments & experiences. All of this forms our beliefs on wellness, and I am passionate about helping people bring their best selves into the open in a realistic way that leaves them feeling fulfilled and anything but deprived.
